Jessie de Salis runs a small textile studio in Somerset. Starting on the kitchen table, her screen print business has grown to fill a barn. Jessie’s designs are bright and bold, inspired by the changing moods of the natural world and tales from years gone by. Treading lightly on the earth is a guiding principle; everything is printed by hand, organic linens are sourced from Europe, and inks are water-based. Hand-printed fabric has a special quality. All fabrics are handled individually and screen-printed in small batches. The slight variations of handmade work make it personal. Every piece is unique.
