Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 (dependent upon experience)
About The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Brand & Social Assistant to play a pivotal role in shaping our social presence day-to-day. You’ll manage the rhythm of our content calendar, capture and craft compelling visual stories, and support the seamless delivery of marketing initiatives across all digital touchpoints. From spotting emerging cultural and interiors trends to producing scroll-stopping photography and video, and maintaining our e-commerce experience, you’ll help ensure our brand shows up consistently and confidently wherever our audience finds us.
Role Responsibilities
Social Media
- Create and maintain content calendars for multiple social channels (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest etc.) and manage the day-to-day scheduling and upkeep of platform activity.
- Stay ahead of the curve of trending content, cultural moments, and interiors-based styles to inform creative decision-making and implementation.
- Jointly, with the wider team, conceptualise creative concepts that meet brand strategy and commercial goals.
- Create and edit high-quality photographic and video content that is on-brief, and effectively delights and engages audiences across multiple channels.
- Write compelling captions and social copy that is both reflective of brand tone and captivating to viewers.
- Track and report on all social media activity, ensuring all key performance metrics are analysed and shared with the team while recommending improvements that will have a positive effect on both digital engagement and commercial goals.
- Facilitate the movement of stock and samples pre and post photography and videography shoots, and maintain clear lines of communication with brand partners and stakeholders.
- Respond and engage directly with audiences across social channels including but not limited to, responding to comments, messages and engagements, and outreaching to like-minded design professionals and tastemakers.
Marketing & E-Commerce
- Support the wider team in delivering all marketing activity and projects, in-line with the overall marketing strategy and calendar, including but not limited to, email and CRM, onsite graphics and editorial content, and advertising channels.
- Design, build, and schedule digital communications, across email and CRM.
- Deliver onsite merchandising and category creation across the site to support the marketing strategy and wider business goals.
- Maintain onsite consistency across product imagery, descriptions, categorisation, and tagging, while upholding creative and brand standards.
- Take the lead with day-to-day customer enquiries, providing excellent customer service, advice and support.
- Assist with, and act as a liaison to our current trade and brand partners, maintain excellent working relationships, whilst also acting as a point of contact for prospective brand partners and marketing initiatives.
Your Skills & Experience
- Previous (at least 1+ year’s worth) experience in a social media, marketing, or communications-based role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A deep understanding of the digital and social media landscape.
- Experience of creative production, including photography, videography, and digital asset creation with a high attention to detail.
- Highly proactive with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, with an eagerness to learn new skills, softwares and applications.
- Familiarity with social channel business suites (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest).
- A good eye for design with fingers on the pulse across interiors, graphic design, fashion, food and culture.
- Meticulous organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Desirable Experience (but by no means essential)
- Experience working in Shopify and related page builders and apps.
- Familiarity of working within the Adobe Suite (in particular Illustrator and InDesign), Canva, Affinity, CapCut or related applications.
- An understanding of email marketing, CRM and Klaviyo.
