The Lomi Chichi Cushion brings together tonal depth and playful detail, combining the richly textured Lomi woven fabric with the lively character of Chichi fringe trim. Meaning twilight or glow, Lomi reflects the subtle shifts of fading light, its densely woven surface composed of interlaced yarns that create a soft interplay of depth and tonal variation. The result is a fabric that feels calm, atmospheric and quietly luminous.

Framing the cushion, the Chichi trim introduces a spirited contrast. Inspired by the vibrant colours of Guatemalan textiles, the dense fringe adds movement, tactility and a joyful edge, offering a fresh lift to the refined base fabric. This interplay between subtle ground and expressive detail gives the cushion a balanced, design-led presence.

Art, design, and making define the house of Christopher Farr Cloth, which was created by Michal Silver with partners Christopher Farr and Matthew Bourne. Since its inception in 2000, Cloth’s creative direction has been underpinned by a commitment to the finest materials, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative collaborations with renowned artists and designers around the world. Today, the collection encompasses fabrics, wallcoverings and passementeries, reflecting a passion for time-honoured textile production processes and an intellectual yet playful approach to design and experimentation.

Cloth’s palette of instantly recognisable hues acts as a unifier that draws together the creativity of an array of artists and designers, from historical to contemporary. The collection’s unique designs are born out of ongoing conversations and exchanges of ideas with designers, as well as inspiration drawn from past archival work by 20th century artists.

The collection is produced by a very selective group of craftsmen. All designs are hand-and screen-printed at a family owned printer in the U.K. The woven textiles are produced in European artisanal mills, exploring new weave structures and innovative yarn spinning.
