Colourful expressive Swedish still life of a wine glass, black grapes, and a red rose on a newspaper and tablecloth. The artist has used all three primary colours to create colour contrasts against the dark background, with the red berries drawing the eye to the centre.

Signed Wilgot Olsson, 1906-1989. Olsson studied at the Valand Academy of Arts in Gothenburg and was a member of the Gothenburg Colourists.
