An elegant and delicate mid-century still life painting, executed in oil onto canvas. The composition captures a bouquet of tulips in a jug, accompanied by a 2 round objects on a dark cloth. They rest on a table with a blue tablecloth with gentle folds.

The artist has used a soft and soothing muted colour palette with gentle greens, blues, and earthy browns, balanced by the warm red of the tulips. The brushwork is loose and impressionistic, giving the piece an almost soft-focus quality.
