House of Hussey is the studio of Kimmy Hussey, a contemporary British painter based in St. Ives, Cornwall. Kimmy's work is colourful, dynamic and botanical. Inspired by the subtropical plant life that thrives in Cornwall, and the unique light and colour found in West Penwith, her work consists of dreamlike garden abstracts, vivid landscapes, and naïve still lifes. Colour and pattern combinations are recognisable throughout her works, creating a distinctive and impactful style. The outcome is unapologetically bright and joyful.
