GENERAL

Gift Cards are available for purchase at theroost.com. You can choose to purchase:
  • A digital e-gift card from our website to be delivered to your email address
  • A digital e-gift card from our website to be delivered to a desired recipient's email address.

    GIFT CARD TERMS

    • The Roost Gift Card is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card, nor can it be redeemed or exchanged for cash or vouchers.

    • The Roost Gift Card is non-refundable and non-transferable.

    • Usage of The Roost Gift Card will mean deduction of the amount of your purchase from the balance of the card. Change will not be given. Any unused value remains on the card and may be applied to future purchases.

    • The Roost Gift Card can be used against goods of a higher price than the face value of the Gift Card, on payment of the difference.

    • Your Gift Card balance must be redeemed within 12 months from the date on which the card was originally purchased, unless stated otherwise. Any balance not spent on or before the date of the expiry date will be forfeited.

    • When returning goods purchased with a Gift Card, any refundable amount will be credited to the Gift Card used against the original transaction. If the card used in the original purchase is unavailable, the refund balance will be placed on to a new Gift Card.

    • Gift Cards purchased online will be sent digitally via email only.

    • The Roost reserves the right to refuse to accept a Gift Card in payment or part payment of any item where it reasonably suspects that the card or any amount on it may have been stolen, tampered with, duplicated or obtained in another illegal way.

    • The Roost reserves the right not to accept any cards that have or appear to have been forged, damaged, defaced or otherwise tampered with. 

    • All refunds and exchanges of goods purchased with a The Roost Gift Card will be made in accordance with the relevant returns policy.

    • The Roost reserves the right to change these Gift Card Terms & Conditions as we deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law, and / or to discontinue The Roost Gift Card at any time. This does not affect your statutory rights.
