2LG STUDIO
Founded in 2014 by Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead, 2LG Studio is an East London based creative studio specialising in interior and product design. With a signature style that blends modern minimalism with playful colour and personal expression, the creative duo found a distinct voice in contemporary design. Their work has been celebrated in international press, including AD, Elle Decoration, House and Garden, Dezeen and Wallpaper*.
Their eye for creating joyful contemporary spaces goes beyond their studio practice as they are also known for their first book, Making Living Lovely and were lead designers and presenters on two series of Changing Rooms. With an international presence their designs have been shown in Milan, Paris, London and New York. Most recently they designed the offices for the award-winning theatre director Jamie Lloyd at Somerset House.

"We created this scheme for a sitting room. When starting to design a room we often like to start with artwork, and in this case we did just that. We love the unexpected colour combination, and when we saw The Roost stocked our very own rug design for Floor Story it was a match made in heaven.
We then chose a more classic sofa shape with fringing, and a slightly more traditional print, to really contrast with the modern rug shape. We love unexpected material combinations so the concrete side table with the plusher sofa and steel lamp is a really cool juxtaposition, adding edge to a more classical scheme.
The vintage Hans Wegner rocking chair brings soul and a classic functional design touch. The natural warmth of the paint colour brings together the clashing elements."
