The Roost's interior design services are led by our London-based team and Designer, Esme Amberg by virtual appointment.

1. After Reserving
Once you reserve your Interior Design Consultation, you’ll be invited to complete a short style questionnaire and share photos or videos of your space. This helps our Designer understand your lifestyle, aspirations, and the unique character of your home, before your first meeting even begins. You’ll then be able to arrange a time to speak with our Designer.

2. Your Initial Design Conversation
In your first meeting, you’ll sit down with your Designer via virtual appointment to explore your vision. Together you’ll discuss the space, how you want it to feel and function, and the goals at the heart of your project. This is your moment to dream out loud, while your Designer listens, advises, and begins shaping the direction of your design.

3. Your Bespoke Design Pack
After your consultation, your Designer will carefully curate a personalised design pack for your space. This may include moodboards, layouts, colour palettes, furniture suggestions, and finishing touches, all crafted with your tastes in mind. You'll review the pack together in a final meeting, where you'll have the opportunity to refine and perfect every detail.

4. Your Final Design, Delivered
Following your meeting, you’ll receive your completed interior design pack. It will be filled with inspired ideas, expert recommendations, and practical guidance to help you achieve your desired look with confidence and ease.

We are unable to offer returns on Interior Design Consultations; but the team at The Roost will always do our best to accommodate appointment alterations where possible.

What is the cost of an Interior Design Consultation at The Roost?

Our price starts at £100 for a Design Consultation lasting 1 hour, and £175 for 2 hours. During this time you'll be able to chat with our Designer.

What's included in a Design Consultation from The Roost?

During your consultation, you'll be able to ask our Designer any questions you have relating to your space. They'll be able to advise you on floor plans and layouts, colour schemes, wallpaper and fabric choices, recommend furniture and decorations, and how to style them, lighting layouts, and even bespoke joinery options.

Do you offer Design Consultations for commercial spaces and businesses?

Yes. At The Roost, we have a thriving Trade Program in place, and our Design Consultations are open to commercial spaces. We have worked with leading hotels, and London restaurants to bring their visions to life.

Do you offer Colour Consultations at The Roost?

Yes we do. You can find our Colour Consultations here. Sometimes, a full interior design service might not be what you and your home needs, and instead a quick chat with a designer about paint, wallpaper and fabrics will do just fine! That's where Colour Consultations at The Roost come in. Quicker than an Interior Design Consultation, and focusing solely on working out the best colour palette for your room, this service will equip you with the tools to pick out the best paint, wallpaper and even fabric options for your space.

Can I gift a Design Consultation from The Roost to someone else?

Absolutely! When you receive your order confirmation email from us, get in touch to let us know who we should arrange the Consultation with. Our Team can then send the interior questionnaire to the recipient.

Can you source furniture and decor that's not currently available on The Roost?

Yes! Our vast network in the interiors industry, gives us access to a wide array of brands and artisans that you might not currently find on The Roost.
