From the Aberdeen Peninsula to scenes of fishermen launching their nets off the coast, our collection Banana Island is a toile pastiche of coastal life in Sierra Leone. Printed on Wexford Linen in the UK and bordered with country cloth hand woven in Sierra Leone.

Dar Leone's Kpokpo Cushion is a rectangular cushion hand crafted in England with our own textiles and a side border feature made of Kpokpo or Country Cloth from Sierra Leone. The Country Cloth is made of cotton carefully handwoven in Sierra Leone. This elegant cushion will add a touch of luxury to any sofa or bedroom. It is also expertly crafted to be comfortable and durable, ensuring it stands the test of time.

About the Brand

Dar Leone is an Islington, London-based design studio founded by Sierra Leonean-American, Isatu Funna. They create and curate a globally inspired range of jewellery, textiles, wallpaper, cushions and objects inspired by Isatu's travels around the world and her childhood memories in Freetown.

With each of their designs, they reimagine traditional West African textiles in unexpected tones of cerise pink, mustard yellow, or chocolate brown. Although Dar Leone's inspiration is global, their production is local.
