Product Care & Composition

Care: Hand wash only. To protect your ceramics we advise against putting them in the microwave or dishwasher in order to preserve them for many years to come.

These organically shaped, irregular stoneware pieces are hand-built and hand-glazed, so each piece may vary slightly in their design or colour. There will be slight imperfections as they are all made by hand. These small variations in the tones and shape make them completely unique to you!

About Rosie Gore

Rosie Gore is an English ceramicist and designer based in London. She designs and makes all of her pieces in her studio and aims to create unique pieces which are full of colour, pattern and texture, which are designed to last a lifetime and help the home tell a story. Her pieces are designed to be both works of art, and functional robust pieces for the home.

Rosie's ceramics are hand built in stoneware clay, creating organically shaped pieces which are then painted and glazed by hand. The speckled, earthy tones of the stoneware are designed to balance the brightly coloured glazed patterns. Shaping each piece by hand means they are all intentionally slightly different, and aims to emphasise her belief in creating unique, slow, sustainable piece of art for the home.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we can ship most items worldwide. If you add an item to checkout and shipping costs don't automatically apply, feel free to reach out to hello@theroost.com to receive a shipping quote.

How long will it take to get my orders?

Please refer to the estimated lead time on each product page. You can find this under the 'Delivery & Returns' dropdown. We will try our best to get your order to you within this lead time, but occasionally, especially during bank holidays, your products may take a little longer to arrive. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive your tracking information by email.

What do I do if I need to return a product?

Most of our products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If your product is made to order, we cannot accept any returns. Make sure to check the 'Delivery & Returns' section on each product page for more information.
