This series is inspired by the ‘flowers’ we send and the myriad of intentions behind it. Some sincere, some less so. Some ambiguous and some with a clear meaning. Flowers being symbolic of all types of gestures. The handwritten ‘note’ underneath each drawing is an imaginary extract from the card accompanying said bunch of flowers. By being somewhat illegible it contributes to the ambiguity and the mystery of these gestures. Leaving the recipient somewhat perplexed.
