Apply Dark Chalk Paint™ Wax to give age your paintwork and emphasise brushmarks, cracks and texture. Use it with Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax to seal and protect furniture and walls painted with Chalk Paint™ decorative paint.

Sizing

Available in 500ml and 120ml.

Product Care & Composition

After painting, seal indoor furniture with a thin base of Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax, removing any excess with a clean cloth. Next, apply the Black Chalk Paint™ Wax, pushing it into the paintwork to bring out brush marks and crevices. Wipe back any excess with Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax, making sure every part of your piece has been waxed at least once.

Wait until the first coat of Chalk Paint™ Wax is touch dry (which will take around an hour depending on environmental factors and how thickly the first coat was applied) before applying a second.

After care: wipe clean with a damp cloth. For tough marks, use a spray cleaner and rewax where necessary.

Chalk Paint™ Wax is not suitable for outdoor use. Use Chalk Paint™ Lacquer outdoors.

Customers must arrange (at their own cost) to return the goods. You must also return the goods in a saleable condition, either with the same packaging as when they were received or with equivalent packaging. Please note we cannot refund items that have been damaged while in transit due to improper packaging. Make sure you wrap them up well! We suggest you use a tracked delivery service. About the Brand

Annie Sloan is a family-run paint company based in Oxford. The company was established in 1990 when founder, artist and interiors expert Annie Sloan, invented her revolutionary furniture paint, Chalk Paint. Chalk Paint can be applied to wood, glass, metal, brick and even laminate, left to dry, and then waxed to finish. No sanding or priming is required.
