Each packet is crafted from eco-friendly recycled paper with a hand screen-printed botanical design. Our incense is made from pure natural ingredients with traditional incense scents. WHO MADE YOUR INCENSE STICKS?

Handmade incense sticks by Silence – a non-profit organisation in India who provide reliable income for physically challenged artisan employees. Many of the artisans are deaf, voiceless, blind, handicapped, or mentally ill. The focus of the charity is to offer opportunities to those in need, and there is no discrimination or child labour. Silence is a Guaranteed Member of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO).

Product Care & Composition

Our incense is made from bamboo sticks, wood powder, Jiggit gum (a natural adhesive made from the bark of trees) and essential oils. The wood powder is made into a paste with the Jiggit and applied to the bamboo sticks. After drying, the sticks are dipped into the essential oil. Finally the perfumed sticks are dried and packed.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery time: < 1 week
Returns: As an online store we appreciate that from time to time you may order an item then be unhappy with your chosen product. In this case, we offer to replace, exchange or refund the item provided you have emailed us at returns@theroost.com within 7 days of receiving the item to let us know.
You must then have returned the item(s) to us in *Saleable Condition* within 14 days of receiving the item. Please note that we cannot refund until we have received the item. Orders will be refunded in full, minus the cost paid for shipping in the original transaction. The buyer is responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.
IMPORTANT - Please make sure you return your items to us via a tracked delivery service, please note that we can not be responsible for any returns that go missing so do ensure you choose a postage method with adequate insurance. Please include your original invoice and a completed returns slip inside the package. If you have not received a returns slip with your order please email us so we can send one to you. Returns sent without any order information cannot be refunded.

How long will it take to get my orders?

Please refer to the estimated lead time on each product page. You can find this under the 'Delivery & Returns' dropdown. We will try our best to get your order to you within this lead time, but occasionally, especially during bank holidays, your products may take a little longer to arrive. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive your tracking information by email.

What do I do if I need to return a product?

Most of our products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If your product is made to order, we cannot accept any returns. Make sure to check the 'Delivery & Returns' section on each product page for more information.
