The ‘Gesture Cups’ series of porcelain cups by 4AM Product Design captures the fluidity and expressiveness of human gestures. Each cup in the series is crafted using a combination of throwing and slip casting techniques to visually represent different gestures. Making it both a practical coffee cup and a unique design object.

What makes the collection unique is that three of the gestures are combined to create an interesting rock-paper-scissors set, with each cup symbolizing a classic gesture. This creative approach not only brings a sense of interactivity and playfulness to the work, but also invites the user to interact with the cups in a vibrant and imaginative way. the ‘Gesture Cups’ series reflects 4AM Product Design's exploration of the intersection between form, function, and the expressive power of the human hand, making each piece both a functional object and a work of art.

Made-to-order / Pre-order items
Some pieces are made to order when they are not currently in stock. If your order includes a made-to-order item, please allow 4–6 weeks for production before dispatch. Production time starts from the date your order is placed and payment is confirmed.
Returns: We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at returns@theroost.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Studio18, 42 Gorst Road, NW106LD, London. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

This item ships internationally to USA and EU. Please note that duties and taxes are the customer's responsibility and may be charged on delivery. Returns are still the responsibility of the customer.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we can ship most items worldwide. If you add an item to checkout and shipping costs don't automatically apply, feel free to reach out to hello@theroost.com to receive a shipping quote.

How long will it take to get my orders?

Please refer to the estimated lead time on each product page. You can find this under the 'Delivery & Returns' dropdown. We will try our best to get your order to you within this lead time, but occasionally, especially during bank holidays, your products may take a little longer to arrive. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive your tracking information by email.

What do I do if I need to return a product?

Most of our products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If your product is made to order, we cannot accept any returns. Make sure to check the 'Delivery & Returns' section on each product page for more information.
