Jaipur in the heart of Rajasthan, India, is known as the Pink City because all the buildings are various shades of dusty ancient pink. Set in the midst of an area of incredible craftsmanship, Jaipur is an endlessly inspiring city and gave its name to this soft sophisticated pink.

Jaipur Pink is a dusty earthy pink with a softness to it. Whilst it was inspired by India, this pink is everywhere in countries like France and Italy; it has the look of traditional plaster – slightly dirty and muted with a timeless olde-world quality. There is nothing Barbie about this pink!

Jaipur Pink lightens to make other pinks or add Arles to make it more of an earthy ochre.

In India it is a colour that works with earthy yellows, browns and reds like Old Ochre Honfleur and Primer Red. Use Jaipur Pink with warmer neutrals like Original, Old White and Rococo White for a cohesive sophisticated look. Jaipur Pink also works with strong colours like Tyrian Plum, Cambrian Blue and Olive to create fresh modern interiors.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery time: < 1 week
Returns: You can return unopened and unused items within 21 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot refund items that have been opened or used. Customers must arrange (at their own cost) to return the goods. You must also return the goods in a saleable condition, either with the same packaging as when they were received or with equivalent packaging. Please note we cannot refund items that have been damaged while in transit due to improper packaging. Make sure you wrap them up well! We suggest you use a tracked delivery service. Annie Sloan is a family-run paint company based in Oxford. The company was established in 1990 when founder, artist and interiors expert Annie Sloan, invented her revolutionary furniture paint, Chalk Paint. Chalk Paint can be applied to wood, glass, metal, brick and even laminate, left to dry, and then waxed to finish. No sanding or priming is required. In 2021, the company introduced Wall Paint, combining premium pigments with Annie’s in-depth knowledge of the history of interiors and the practicality of an easy-to-use, durable finish. Yes, we can ship most items worldwide. If you add an item to checkout and shipping costs don't automatically apply, feel free to reach out to hello@theroost.com to receive a shipping quote.

How long will it take to get my orders?

Please refer to the estimated lead time on each product page. You can find this under the 'Delivery & Returns' dropdown. We will try our best to get your order to you within this lead time, but occasionally, especially during bank holidays, your products may take a little longer to arrive. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive your tracking information by email.

What do I do if I need to return a product?

Most of our products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If your product is made to order, we cannot accept any returns. Make sure to check the 'Delivery & Returns' section on each product page for more information.
