Product Care & Composition

Made from...

Made from recycled glass.

Made by...

Made by glass artists in the Balearic Islands.

Set in the foothills of a national park mountain range, the studio’s work invokes the crystalline waters of the nearby sea.

Glass is heated to 1200 degrees so it becomes molten, before being blown, tweaked and twirled into shape. by glass artists.

Once formed, the piece is left to 'cool down' in an oven of 650 degrees, before eventually acclimatising to room temperature.

Take care of it

Dishwasher safe on 50 degree eco setting.

They are not suitable for pouring boiling water from the kettle.

About Late Afternoon

Now here’s a treasure trove to explore. Discover things to cherish and heirlooms-to-be in this quirky collection. Late Afternoon was founded by two old friends living between London and Madrid. Some pieces are made by artisans and family businesses. Some are made by Late Afternoon in partnership with them. All are made with natural materials like wool, linen, clay and cotton.
