Inspired by original woodcut prints from Sierra Leone, in our Laramee collection we imagine the idyllic break of day in the life of a countryside village featuring open-sided palm thatched huts, fruit baskets piled high with oranges ready for market stalls, pink banana trees, goats and bongo's free to wander and hibiscus bushes flowering in abundance. Laramee is available in three colour ways of Coral, Indigo and Pale Mauve.

Dar Leone's Kpokpo Cushion is a rectangular cushion hand crafted in England with our own textiles and a side border feature made of Kpokpo or Country Cloth from Sierra Leone. The Country Cloth is made of cotton carefully handwoven in Sierra Leone. This elegant cushion will add a touch of luxury to any sofa or bedroom. It is also expertly crafted to be comfortable and durable, ensuring it stands the test of time.

About the Brand

Dar Leone is an Islington, London-based design studio founded by Sierra Leonean-American, Isatu Funna. They create and curate a globally inspired range of jewellery, textiles, wallpaper, cushions and objects inspired by Isatu's travels around the world and her childhood memories in Freetown.

With each of their designs, they reimagine traditional West African textiles in unexpected tones of cerise pink, mustard yellow, or chocolate brown. Although Dar Leone's inspiration is global, their production is local.
