Collages are made from found and cut vintage papers that may contain a visible dot pattern from their original printing process. This is subtle at small scale. When the piece is scanned and enlarged even at high resolution the dot pattern also becomes larger and paper textures more noticeable. This is a natural characteristic of the original material/process, not pixelation or a printing error.
