PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ITEM IS ON PRE-ORDER. WE ARE EXPECTING TO BE ABLE TO FULFIL ORDERS WEEK COMMENCING 9th MARCH 2026.
Hand carved olive wood sugar spoon. Authentic black Batik handle. Serve any kind of sugar in your desired amount with our smooth, bowl-shaped scoop. The long, sturdy handle enables easy access to the bottom of tall containers. Versatile uses, such as baking, tea-making, and home-cooking.
The handle has been finished with sustainably sourced cow bone, helping to reduce wastage and continue cultural traditions. No two spoons are the same, making each one exclusive and individual.
WHO MADE YOUR SPOON?
The contemporary wooden products are hand carved in a Nairobi workshop run by one of the founders of the popular Maasai Market in Westlands, Zephania.
These items are made from Wild Olive wood that is all sustainably sourced from Zephania’s own plantations in his hometown, Kissi, where he continually re-plants trees.
