Paloma is a lilac taupe Chalk Paint™ colour made from mixing purple and yellow complementaries with white to make a soft warm neutral. It is both a modern contemporary colour and a classic colour that was used when a range of purples first became possible.

Chalk Paint: Available 120ml, 500ml, and 1 Litre. 1 litre is enough to cover approximately 13 square metres

Product Care & Composition

After painting, seal indoor furniture with a thin base of Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax, removing any excess with a clean cloth. Next, apply the Black Chalk Paint™ Wax, pushing it into the paintwork to bring out brush marks and crevices. Wipe back any excess with Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax, making sure every part of your piece has been waxed at least once.

Wait until the first coat of Chalk Paint™ Wax is touch dry (which will take around an hour depending on environmental factors and how thickly the first coat was applied) before applying a second.

After care: wipe clean with a damp cloth. For tough marks, use a spray cleaner and rewax where necessary.

Chalk Paint™ Wax is not suitable for outdoor use. Use Chalk Paint™ Lacquer outdoors.

Returns: You can return unopened and unused items within 21 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot refund items that have been opened or used. Customers must arrange (at their own cost) to return the goods. You must also return the goods in a saleable condition, either with the same packaging as when they were received or with equivalent packaging. Please note we cannot refund items that have been damaged while in transit due to improper packaging. Make sure you wrap them up well! We suggest you use a tracked delivery service. Annie Sloan is a family-run paint company based in Oxford. The company was established in 1990 when founder, artist and interiors expert Annie Sloan, invented her revolutionary furniture paint, Chalk Paint. Chalk Paint can be applied to wood, glass, metal, brick and even laminate, left to dry, and then waxed to finish. No sanding or priming is required. In 2021, the company introduced Wall Paint, combining premium pigments with Annie’s in-depth knowledge of the history of interiors and the practicality of an easy-to-use, durable finish. Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we can ship most items worldwide. If you add an item to checkout and shipping costs don't automatically apply, feel free to reach out to hello@theroost.com to receive a shipping quote.

How long will it take to get my orders?

Please refer to the estimated lead time on each product page. You can find this under the 'Delivery & Returns' dropdown. We will try our best to get your order to you within this lead time, but occasionally, especially during bank holidays, your products may take a little longer to arrive. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive your tracking information by email.

What do I do if I need to return a product?

Most of our products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If your product is made to order, we cannot accept any returns. Make sure to check the 'Delivery & Returns' section on each product page for more information.
