Handwoven in black and white Werregue fibres, its rhythmic pattern represents falling rain — lluvia — a powerful symbol of life in the lush forests where the Wounaan communities originate.

Crafted on Colombia’s Pacific coast by Wounaan artisans — known as the “people of the rainforest” — each piece reflects generations of ancestral weaving knowledge. The intricate fibre work is carefully set within a wooden base, balancing sculptural presence with practical function.
