Our Damru Rattan Side Table is handwoven with rattan and cane, with a scalloped detail around the edge and a unique shape. The teak rattan colour fits in effortlessly with almost any style of decor.

The name Damru comes from the unique shape of the side table - a word used to describe this particular shape in Hindi. Ethically handcrafted by our talented artisans in Northern India, and designed by us at our studio in the UK.

Product Care & Composition

Materials & finishes: Natural rattan in a teak finish

Assembly required: No

Care: Rattan is a natural material, so please refrain from the use of harsh chemicals when cleaning. We recommend using simply using a clean damp cloth, followed immediately with a dry cloth. We recommend to use a low heat light bulb for any of our rattan shades.

Delivery & Returns

If in stock, this will be delivered within two weeks. If it's on backorder, then your item will be delivered to your door within 3-4 weeks.

We want you to be happy with any Hastshilp item you have purchased or received as a gift. If you are not happy with the item for any reason, please return the item in the same condition and original packaging within 30 days and we will be delighted to give you a full refund.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Contact us by email at returns@theroost.com with your order number and details of the issue.

Please note that Hastshilp's rattan, bamboo and cane items are made by hand using natural materials. This means no item will be the same and may have natural markings, varying colouring and “imperfections” in different places, and may also vary in size by up to 2cm.

Their bespoke designs are drawn by hand in the UK and then sent to a team in India to be brought to life. All their products are handmade in a small town in Northern India, where co-founder Aadil is originally from, by a family whose skills have been passed down through generations.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we can ship most items worldwide. If you add an item to checkout and shipping costs don't automatically apply, feel free to reach out to hello@theroost.com to receive a shipping quote.

How long will it take to get my orders?

Please refer to the estimated lead time on each product page. You can find this under the 'Delivery & Returns' dropdown. We will try our best to get your order to you within this lead time, but occasionally, especially during bank holidays, your products may take a little longer to arrive. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive your tracking information by email.

What do I do if I need to return a product?

Most of our products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If your product is made to order, we cannot accept any returns. Make sure to check the 'Delivery & Returns' section on each product page for more information.
