The word daisy is derived from the term, day’s eye, referring to the flower’s cyclical opening and closing its petals, to sleep at night and awake in the morning when the sun shines. Thus, the daisy is a solar symbol that relates to new beginnings, fresh hopes, light, life energy, but also eternity.

The daisy in Paganism represented the sun and stars because of their appearance. In Nordic countries, the daisy was pictured with Freya, the goddess of love, fertility, purity and hope.

This plant is common to the Mediterranean and it’s name essentially means ‘excellent pearl’ in Latin because of its beautiful, pearly petals.

Daisy teas are often used to treat bronchitis, coughs and inflammation, the flowers can also be applied to heal wounds on the skin.

This archive print has been lovingly restored and reproduced using digital printing and ethically sourced materials.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery time: < 1 week
All Print Sisters prints, wallpapers and fabrics are made to order. Therefore, we don't issue refunds on them, but if you wish to return blankets or cushions, these items have a 28-day return policy.
You have 28 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please get in touch with us at returns@theroost.com. The cost of returning your items will be your personal responsibility so we recommend using a tracked service with insurance. We cannot be held responsible for items lost/damaged in transit.
Refunds will be processed upon receipt of your return. Unfortunately, we cannot process returns for refunds requested more than 28 days after receipt of delivery, and we cannot refund bespoke orders.

Yes, we can ship most items worldwide. If you add an item to checkout and shipping costs don't automatically apply, feel free to reach out to hello@theroost.com to receive a shipping quote.

How long will it take to get my orders?

Please refer to the estimated lead time on each product page. You can find this under the 'Delivery & Returns' dropdown. We will try our best to get your order to you within this lead time, but occasionally, especially during bank holidays, your products may take a little longer to arrive. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive your tracking information by email.

What do I do if I need to return a product?

Most of our products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If your product is made to order, we cannot accept any returns. Make sure to check the 'Delivery & Returns' section on each product page for more information.
