About CF Editions

Over 30 years ago, artist and designer Christopher Farr set out to unite heritage textile craftsmanship with contemporary design vision. Since then, he and his business partner Matthew Bourne have maintained a dedication to quality and an uncompromising pursuit of beauty that has helped revolutionise rug design and restore rug-making to the status of fine art.

Today, they continue to protect and preserve the world’s weaving traditions, while pushing at the creative possibilities of design. Alongside Christopher’s own work, they collaborate with a considered roster of international artists, architects, fashion designers and other visionaries to produce a selection of designs that remains unrivalled in its creative scope.

CF Editions collaborates with some of the world’s top artists and designers, both past and present, including William Scott, Gary Hume, Sandra Blow, Terry Frost and Anni Albers. Every rug is fabricated to the most exacting standards and delivered with a signed certificate of authenticity. All designs are produced with the relevant institution estate or artist closely involved in the whole process, in the same way as when producing limited edition prints, to ensure that the end result is as faithful to the original work as possible.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we can ship most items worldwide. If you add an item to checkout and shipping costs don't automatically apply, feel free to reach out to hello@theroost.com to receive a shipping quote.

How long will it take to get my orders?

Please refer to the estimated lead time on each product page. You can find this under the 'Delivery & Returns' dropdown. We will try our best to get your order to you within this lead time, but occasionally, especially during bank holidays, your products may take a little longer to arrive. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive your tracking information by email.

What do I do if I need to return a product?

Most of our products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If your product is made to order, we cannot accept any returns. Make sure to check the 'Delivery & Returns' section on each product page for more information.
